How Can I Help?

There are a number of ways in which you can support the One World Broadcasting Trust. If you are part of an organisation, you might be interested in sponsoring the One World Media Awards. You can also donate to the Trust, or volunteer. In addition, if you are from a broadcaster, you could offer to host a One World Media Fellow for part of a day during the Fellowship Scheme. Sponsorship Opportunities

The One World Media Awards have always relied on the generous support of sponsors and supporters. These include broadcasters (including the BBC and Channel 4), government departments (DfID) and NGOs. The ceremony itself attracts a wide range of guests, from senior broadcasters and journalists to overseas development specialists.

Sponsorship is your chance to be a part of this unique industry event. It provides you with the opportunity to target the promotion of your organisation to an audience of industry professionals, key decision-makers and experts in broadcasting and international development. Find out more here.

The Trust also welcomes sponsorship for its other events and core activities. If you would like to learn more, please email oneworld@owbt.org or call 020 7922 7941 for more information. For details of our current sponsors see our Supporters page.

Hosting a One World Media Fellow

The One World Fellowship Scheme brings a group of senior broadcasters from developing countries to the UK for a two-week period every year. During this time they meet with British broadcasters to learn about the media scene in the UK, and to share their own perspective on the role of the media in their countries and around the world.

The scheme relies on the generous support of its UK hosts, who are from a variety of organisations, and who host a session with the fellows during the scheme. This session might be a site visit, a roundtable discussion, or a one-on-one meeting. If you are from a broadcasting organisation - be it large or small - and would be interested in hosting a fellow, please get in touch. You can email
oneworld@owbt.org or call 020 7922 7941.
