Chanda Mfula, Zambezi FM, Zambia - read full feedback

"One of the most significant things that the fellowship has done this year is try and narrow the gap between the developed world and developing world, and to bring common understanding. Everywhere we went we did not just learn, we shared."

"There is no doubt in my mind that the fellowship programme can help so many other journalists from the developing world to change the media landscapes in their countries for the better."

Charles Tembei, Cameroon Radio Television West, Cameroon - read full feedback

"It has been a wonderfully rich experience for me, one that is going to completely change the way I will henceforth do my work back home."

"What I have learnt during my two-week participation in this fellowship, I would never have been able to learn from spending two full semesters in a serious journalism school."

Ha Thu Hang, Vietnam Television, Vietnam - read full feedback

"The fellowship gives me an idea about how British media is changing. This is what Vietnamese media is going through and has to go through. And the more you know about what waits for you ahead, the more you know how to deal with it."

"The fellowship gets me thinking about the future of media as a tool to make the society better and gives me a new inspiration to come back to my work."

Moshongwa Matsena, Channel Africa, South Africa - read full feedback

"As I am in a position of influence in my station I will be in a position to suggest and apply some of the lessons I have learnt during the programme."

"I have learnt a lot from other participants’ experiences. We have shared issues affecting the media in our countries and also advised one another on how to overcome some of the challenges and frustrations in our work environments."

Muamar A. O. Nakhla, Wattan TV, Palestine - read full feedback

"The impact on Wattan TV will be felt soon after my return to Palestine. I will work to create a new department called the Creative Department which focuses on building Wattan’s image."

"We visited many broadcasting organizations such as television and radio stations. I would like to model some of the aspects of the organizational system of BBC and Sky News."

Sofia Lopez, MEGA TV, Chile - read full feedback

"From all the places we visited the one that impressed me most was Al Jazeera English. Not knowing much of them before made me have a wrong idea of what they did.  It is amazing what they are doing around the world, the technology they are using and how they are investing in their bureaus."

"The most useful information for my actual position is what I learned about the commissioning process of Channel 4 and also how the BBC applies its editorial policies to independent producers."
