One World Student Film Bursaries

One World Student Bursaries 2005

In 2005 the bursaries were named in memory of Pranlal Sheth, one of our former Trustees.  Pran was a tireless supporter of the work of the Trust, and in particular of the film bursaries.

2005 was also the first year in which we were able to offer a grant to an overseas film student. The recipient in question was studying at the National Film and Television Institute of India (Pune). We're grateful to the National Film and Television School here in the UK, which gave us vital support in this development. Altogether, 12 students received bursaries - 11 studying in the UK, and one in India.
